I’ll be honest with you. I love vegetables.

In fact, my favorite is a wedge of cold, iceberg lettuce—specifically the crunchy white middle part.

Now I know what you’re thinking — of course she loves vegetables, she’s a nutritionist!

I must admit, I had some help from my mother, who raised our family on a plant-forward, Mediterranean diet. I loved the taste of it all yet my stomach often had other opinions!

In college, I began to experiment in the kitchen with foods that made my body (and belly!) feel good. I was hooked. After graduation I went to Italy to study culinary arts at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and received a diploma in northern Italian cuisine & enology. This unforgettable experience sparked a true passion for cooking and nutrition and their influence on well-being.

Fast forward some years later, I received my Masters in Nutrition & Applied Physiology from Columbia University and became a Board Certified Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist. The most rewarding part of my work is helping you find the joy of better eating!
